At Bay Tree Florists, our floristry workshops offer a beautifully relaxed way to learn something new, spend time being creative, and work with seasonal flowers in a welcoming, boutique setting.
Led by our expert, industry qualified florists, each workshop is thoughtfully designed to be accessible for all skill levels. Whether you’re completely new to floristry or looking to build on existing knowledge, you’ll be guided step by step through the process, with plenty of time, space, and encouragement to create something you’ll be proud of, to take home.
If you’re searching for flower arranging workshops in Elgin or wreath making classes in Moray, our carefully curated programme offers a flower school experience in a calm, inspiring environment where learning feels enjoyable rather than intimidating.
Our workshops are available in a variety of formats, including in-store & venue sessions, 1:1 and small group experiences, private group bookings, and large group or corporate workshops. No matter the setting or group size, every session is delivered with the same attention to detail, quality materials, and expert, professional guidance.
Each workshop includes:
Hands-on, fully guided instruction
A relaxed and supportive atmosphere
Premium, highest quality seasonal fresh, silk or dried flowers and foliage
All tools, materials, and sundries provided
A perfect finished floral design to take home
There’s no pressure to be “creative” — just the freedom to enjoy learning something new.
“I went for the wreath making session last Saturday. It was set up so beautifully and organised. There was plenty of space for you to create your wreath. They demonstrated what we had to do and then had people on hand coming around to check everyone was okay and give help where needed. I’m so so pleased with my wreath! It’s honestly SO much nicer than I thought I could ever make! I am so proud of it, and it’s all thanks to you guys! Thank you so much, it was a lot of fun! Xx”
Our workshop calendar evolves with the seasons, allowing you to work with flowers and materials at their very best.
Flower Workshops may include:
Festive Christmas wreath making - see below for wreath class options
Each design is chosen to suit the time of year while offering the chance to learn new techniques and explore your own style. Private/group bookings are available all year round and can be your choice of floral design.
Our workshops are perfect if you’re looking for:
A relaxed way to learn a new skill
A thoughtful creative escape
